Through the integration of multi-omics sequencing datasets, we identified that chromatin loops mediated by PTBP1 facilitate the formation of circular RNAs (circRNAs) at the DNA level. This suggests a potential regulatory role of three-dimensional genome architecture in circRNA biogenesis.
