The nucleic acid was extracted from the 140 ul anal swab. Reverse transcription (RT)-PCR was performed by using random primers. The cDNA was then converted to Second-stranded DNA and library preparation was carried out using the SMARTer Stranded Total RNA-Seq Kit v2.Sequencing of metatranscriptome libraries was conducted on the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform (PE 150) and about 40,000,000 reads were generated. |
