DNA was extracted from the Scutellaria baicalensis using CTAB method. The DNA was sheared and fragments with sizes of 200 ~ 300 bp were retrieved from agarose gels. The fragments were ligated to adaptors and were selected for DNA amplification for templates. The library was then sequenced on Illumina HiSeq 2000. |
