For RNA-Seq, six tissues including cuticle, fat body, head, hemolymph, midgut and silk gland of fourteen samples (BomL85, BomL194, BomL41, BomL84, BomP79, BomL114, BomL170, BomL122, BomL31, BomL210, BomL13, BomL112, BomP128, and BomW44) were collected on the 3rd day of the final larval stage. Total RNA was isolated using Trizol (Invitrogen). An RNA-seq library was constructed using the MGIEasy RNA Library Prep Kit. All RNA sequencing was carried out at Frasergen (Wuhan, China) and Novogene (Tianjin, China).
