The metagenome sequencing analysis commenced with the extraction of total DNA. Subsequent quality assessments evaluated DNA purity, concentration, and integrity using NanoDrop 2000, TBS-380, and 1% agarose gel electrophoresis. Once the DNA samples passed quality checks, ultrasonication with a Covaris M220 instrument fragmented them into approximately 409 bp fragments. |
