Total nucleic acids were then extracted strictly using the manufacturer’s protocol provided by QIAamp MinElute Virus Spin Kit. These nucleic acid samples containing DNA and RNA viral sequences were then subjected to reverse transcription reactions with SuperScript III reverse transcriptase and 152 pmol of a random hexamer primer, followed by a single round of DNA synthesis using Klenow fragment polymerase. |
