The end of the large intestine was cut open to collect fresh feces. Guhe Info (Hangzhou, China) assisted in completing the 16S rRNA gene testing. Nucleic acid extraction reagent (GHFDE100, Guhe Info, Hangzhou, China) was used to extract total microorganismal DNA from the samples, and universal primers were used for PCR amplification of 16S rRNA gene fragments. PCR products of appropriate length were imported into libraries for paired-end sequencing on a high-throughput sequencing platform (Illumina NovaSeq6000). High-quality sequence data were obtained after quality control procedures. |
