DNA fragmentation was performed via a Covaris M220 (Gene Company Limited, China) to achieve an average fragment size of ~400 bp. Paired-end libraries were constructed from the fragmented DNA via the NEXTFLEX Rapid DNA-Seq Kit (Bioo Scientific, Austin, TX, USA). Paired-end sequencing was conducted on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform (Illumina Inc., San Diego, CA, USA) with a NovaSeq 6000 S4 Reagent Kit (v1.45) following the manufacturer's protocol (www.illumina.com). The metagenomic sequencing data generated in this study have been deposited in the NCBI database. |
