Cells were collected and pelleted by centrifugation at 3910 x g for 5 minutes at 4 C. Supernatant was discarded, and the pellet was immediately snap-frozen in liquid nitrogen. Total RNA was extracted from each replicate sample using the RNAprep Pure Cell/Bacteria Kit (Tiangen Biotech, Beijing, China). RNA-seq libraries were prepared following the manufacturer's protocol with the NEBNext Ultra RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina (New England Biolabs, MA, USA). |
