Total fecal DNA was extracted using a MagBeads FastDNA Kit for Soil following the manufacturers instructions. DNA quantity and quality were assessed using a Qubit 4 Fluorometer with the Qubit 1x dsDNA HS Assay Kit and agarose gel electrophoresis, respectively. Metagenome shotgun sequencing libraries with 400-bp inserts were constructed using the Illumina TruSeq Nano DNA LT Library Preparation Kit. Libraries were sequenced on an Illumina NovaSeq platform using PE150 reads at Personal Biotechnology Co., Ltd. |
