Characteristics
LINC02604 is one exon transcript of 2195 bp bp long non-coding RNA (GenBank), located on human chromosome chr7q11.21.
Function
LINC02604 depletion impaired proliferation, migration and invasion of glioblastoma in vitro and in vivo. Higher expression of LINC02604 in patients with glioblastoma indicated lower survival rate and poorer prognosis [1].
LINC02604 can serve as a sponge for miR-940 which is a tumor suppressor in cervical cancer [1].
Expression
LINC02604 is overexpressed in in glioblastoma than non-tumor tissues [1].
