LINC00707 is 3087 bp long non-coding RNA, located on human chromosome chr10p14, consisting five exons (GenBank) [1]. LINC00707 is mainly located in the cytoplasm [1].
Function
LINC00707 upregulation was correlated with advanced malignant clinical characteristics. [1] Capacity of LINC00707 to promote lung adenocarcinoma (LAD) cell proliferation and migration is achieved partially through the interaction with Cdc42 expression [1].
LINC00707 regulate the downstream gene cdc42. Downregulation of Cdc42 inhibits LAD cells proliferation and is involved in the oncogene function of LINC00707. [1].
Expression
LINC00707 was significantly upregulated in lung adenocarcinoma (LAD) compared to that in adjacent normal tissues [1].
