LOC101929866 involved in the pathogenesis of PMOP by regulating the expression of their nearby and co-expressed DEmRNAs and the pathway of osteoclast differentiation. [1].
LncRNAs have also been shown to regulate gene expression in cis. LOC105376834-ALPL and LOC101929866-SLPI were two DElncRNA-DEmRNA co-expression pairs in PMOP. In addition, ALPL and SLPI were nearby DEmRNAs of LOC105376834 and LOC101929866, respectively. It was hypothesized that LOC105376834 and LOC101929866 may regulate the expression of ALPL and SLPI by a cis-effect, in which the DElncRNAs were also co-expressed with DElncRNAs. [1].
