Up-regulated during differentiation of GABAergic neurons in culture but downregulated during oligodendrocyte differentiation (Mercer (2010)).

Conservation

LncRNA is conserved in mammals and overlaps the LOC157627 noncoding Refseq gene in humans (Mercer (2010)).

Misc

Oct4, Nanog transcription factors are reported to bind to locus (Guttman (2009)).
