LINC00312 could predict a good prognosis of no lymph node metastasis and a poor prognosis of lymph node metastasis in NPC patients, which indicated that LINC00312 could represent a potential biomarker for metastasis, progression and prognosis in NPC[1].
Regulation
LINC00312 was strongly negatively correlated with EBER-1 in NPC, which suggests that EBER-1 could possibly regulate the expression of LINC00312 through some genes and signaling pathways[1].
Expression
LINC00312 was significantly down-regulated in NPC tissues compared with non-cancerous nasopharyngeal epithelium tissues. Overexpression of LINC00312 inhibits proliferation by arresting cell cycle progression from G1 to S phase and increases the adhesion, motility and invasion of cells, both in vitro and in vivo via the H-ras/p–c-Raf and JNK2/AP-1/MMP1 pathways in NPC HNE1 cells[1].
