TapSAKI is an intronic antisense lncRNA, which is transcribed from a gene located in the genome on chromosome 22.[1]
Expression
TapSAKI was significantly increased in these patients compared to healthy controls and disease controls.[1]
Function
TapSAKI can predicts the survival of AKI and thus has the biomarker potential of AKI (P <0.001).[1] TapSAKI is specifically enriched in hypoxic renal tubular epithelial cells.[1]
