GCSIR expression and HCV replication has a positive correlation.

Annotated Information

Name

Approved symbol:GCSIR

Approved name:GPR55 cis regulatory suppressor of immune response RNA

HGNC ID:HGNC:54400

Alias symbol:Lnc-ITM2C-1

RefSeq ID:NR_038238

Characteristics

Function

Please input information here.

Regulation

HCV induces GCSIR expression, while GCSIR indirectly favors HCV replication by stimulating expression of its neighboring gene GPR55, which in turn downregulates expression of ISGs.[1]

Expression

GCSIR is upregulated early after HCV infection.[1]
