Annotated Information

Name

LINC01930:long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1930

EU358092 [1]

Characteristics

EU358092 is a brain-expressed RNA, within the schizophrenia-associated region at 1p21.3. In addition, GenBank and AceView data list EU358092 as a human, brain-expressed 869 bp mRNA, having been detected in the amygdala and foetal brain. Current data indicates that this RNA has two exons and covers a genomic distance of 8.27 kb (chr1:98,399,030–98,407,302; GRCh37/hg19). [1]

Expression

Comparison of MIR137 and EU358092 expression in vivo [1].

EU358092 shows a similar expression pattern to that of MIR137 in NHPRTR(Non-Human Primate Reference Transcriptome Resource ), with highest expression restricted to the brain and pituitary gland. In addition, Bioinformatic analysis of publically available CNS expression data indicates that MIR137 and EU358092 are often co-expressed in vivo. [1]

Diseases

Schizophrenia[1]
