Title Comparative study on the response mechanism of Platycodon grandiflorus to heavy ion beam and X-ray radiation indicated by transcriptome and proteomic analysis
Description Heavy ion beam (HIB) and X-ray (XR) are widely used physical agent to induce mutations and create novel germplasm. However, the molecular mechanism underlying response pattern to different types of radiation in medicinal plants remain unclear. Here, the seedling of Platycodon grandiflorus were irradiated with HIB and XR, the samples harvested from the treatment groups that caused similar biological effects (15 Gy HIB and 20 Gy XR) were used for RNA-Seq and data independent acquisition (DIA) protein quantitative analysis.
