| Title |
The comparison of two pathological processing methods for large endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) specimens |
| Description |
In this study, the use of macro biocassettes and L-shaped embedding molds could effectively avoid multiple cutting of large specimens. Movement and deformation of the sectioned tissue could be reduced by the use of two sponges. Compared with the conventional method, the optimized procedure has advantages in reducing the number of paraffin blocks and sections, saving storage space and facilitating accurate pathological evaluation. |
