About five months after planting, three groups of peony roots cultivated in substrates were selected for metabolome sequencing, the middle part of three main roots of each pot was mixed as samples, and six pots of peony were selected as replicate organisms for each substrate group. All samples were stored in liquid nitrogen for future use. |
