1Summary
Title The role of stem cells in the repair of ocular tissue damage and its regulatory mechanism
Description Western blot was used to detect the effect of L001 on the proliferation of corneal epithelial cells treated with hyperosmolality. As a sensor of cellular nutrient, mTOR plays a central regulatory role in cell proliferation, growth, and differentiation. The results showed that compared with the HOsM group, the expression of p-mTOR, pS6K and p-4EBP in human cornea epithelial cell (HCECs) were significantly increased in L001 group and decreased in BPTES group, while the expression of p-AMPK and its downstream P-ACC were decreased in L001 group, which indicated that L001 can promote proliferation and inhibit apoptosis by improving energy metabolism of corneal epithelium. N: Nontreated control group; HOsM: Hypertonic treatment group; L001: L001 with Hypertonic treatment group; BPTES: BPTES+L001 with Hypertonic treatment group.
