| Description | Desiccating stress (DS) was induced in 8-10- week old female C57BL/6 (C57) mice by subcutaneous injection of scopolamine hydrobromide (0.5 mg/0.2 mL) four times a day and exposure to a low humidity environment (relative humidity <40%) for 5 days (DS5). L001 (DS5+L001) or vehicle (DS5+Vehicle) eye drops were topically applied in mice subjected to DS. A group of age- and gender-matched mice that did not receive any treatment to induce dry eye served as non-stressed (NS) controls. File 1 showed that topical application of L001 promoted cell proliferation (Ki-67 positive cells) in murine corneal (A) and conjunctival (B) epithelium in dry eye. File 2 showed that topical application of L001 decreased the expression of AC-Caspase-3 (A) and -8 (B) in murine ocular surface during DS. File 3 showed topical application of L001 suppressed cell apoptosis in murine cornea (A) and conjunctiva (B) during DS. |
