| Title | The therapeutic effects of L001 on ocular surface damages in murine dry eye |
|---|---|
| Description | Desiccating stress (DS) was induced in 8-10- week old female C57BL/6 (C57) mice by subcutaneous injection of scopolamine hydrobromide (0.5 mg/0.2 mL) four times a day and exposure to a low humidity environment (relative humidity <40%) for 5 days (DS5). L001 (DS5+L001, 0.1%/1%/10%) or vehicle (DS5+Vehicle) eye drops were topically applied in mice subjected to DS. File 1 showed that topical application of L001 alleviated OGD staining in dry eye. According to the expression of K10 (File 2, A) and SPRR1B (File 2, B), topical application of L001 suppressed murine ocular epithelial keratinization in dry eye. The expression of MMP-3 (File 3, A) and MMP-9 (File 3, B) indicated that topical application of L001 improved murine corneal epithelial barrier function in dry eye. |
