Title MSSRCA Powered Sensitive Point-of-Care Detection of HPV mRNA for Cervical Cancer Screening
Description We collected 54 cervical cancer tissues that were histopathologically diagnosed at the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center from 2017 to 2022. Among these, 34 patients were genotyped as Human papillomavirus (HPV) type 16 with positive E7 expression and 20 patients were E7 negative by Molecular Diagnostics Division in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center. Total RNA was extracted from the cervical tumor tissue samples by using TRIzol (Life Technologies). After the RNA pellet was resuspended in DEPC water, the first strand of cDNA was synthesized using color Reverse Transcription kit (EZB, A0010CGQ) based on the manufacture's instruction. The treated clinical samples detected by using the MSSRCA-PGM system to verify the E7 mRNA expression. These findings will provide a rapid and accurate method for Point-of-Care Detection of HPV mRNA for cervical cancer screening.
