Title Transcriptome sequencing data
Description Our previous research found that the grafted poplar with Populus cathayana (C) as scion and P. deltoides (D) as rootstock had greater growth under control and drought conditions than their self-grafting combination, respectively. In this study, RNA-seq were performed to investigate the molecular mechanisms that determine the greater drought tolerance in the optimal interspecific grafting combination (C/D) compared to self-grafting combinations (C/C and D/D) under drought stress conditions.
