Description | To discover novel therapeutic targets for TAAAD, we performed proteomic analysis of ascending aorta tissues from TAAAD patients younger than 65 years compared with those of control subjects.Written informed consent was obtained from surgical patients or organ donors, all of whom were compliant with the Declaration of Helsinki. A total of 10 patients who underwent total arch replacement combined with stented elephant trunk implantation were included. During emergency surgery, aortic type A dissection tissue were collected. For proteomic analysis, tissue was taken from the site of the incision 2 cm above the aortic sinus-tube junction. The aortic tissue of the control group was obtained from the aortic tissue of the ascending aortic incision edge and organ donors undergoing aortic valve replacement or heart transplantation. |
