| Description |
Blood samples were collected in EDTA blood collection tubes within 48 hours of hospital admission. Total RNA was extracted and purified from the EDTA plasma using a Qiagen Serum/ Plasma kit (Qiagen no. 217184) .Microarray analyses were performed using RNA samples on the Agilent microarray platform (SBC human competing endogenous (ce) RNA array V3.0, 4x180K) according to the manufacturer's standard protocols. In brief, RNA samples were used to generate fluorescence-labelled cRNA targets for ceRNA array which contains 34,549 mRNA probes. The labelled cRNA targets were then hybridized onto the microarray and scanned on the Agilent Microarray Scanner (Agilent Technologies surescan Dx, USA). The data were extracted with Feature Extraction software 10.7 (Agilent Technologies, USA). |
