Description | Innate immunity is the first line of defense against viral/microbial infections for human beings. Among that, retinoic acid-inducible gene I (RIG-I)-like receptors (RLRs) are well-characterized intracellular pattern-recognition proteins to activate innate immunity in response to viral infection. However, whether and how cellular metabolites, particularly fatty acids, regulate RLR-mediated antiviral innate immunity remain largely unclear. |
