Host-microbial interaction studies on the damage of cadmium exposure to the small intestine and colon of Hu sheep

OMIX006617

1Summary
Title Host-microbial interaction studies on the damage of cadmium exposure to the small intestine and colon of Hu sheep
Description Intestinal diseases represented by colitis always threaten the health of livestock animals, and at the same time, they also cause immeasurable losses to the livestock industry every year. Current research has demonstrated that intestinal diseases are related to changes in the gut microbiota and host-to-host interactions. However, the specific pathogenesis is still unclear, which also leads to difficulties in the treatment and prevention of intestinal diseases. Environmental factors are one of the main causes of intestinal diseases, and the more typical one is colitis caused by cadmium accumulation in the body due to cadmium exposure in the environment. In this study, cadmium exposure was used as a research point to explore the pathogenesis of colitis in Hu sheep caused by cadmium exposure.
