Title JointMap: A Unified Platform for Chondral Studies and Articular Diseases
Description The articular cartilage plays a crucial key role in smooth articulation and load transmission of bones. Diverse methods based on recent progress in single-cell technologies were performed for molecular characterization of the heterogeneous cell types within articular cartilage. Here, we present an integrated reference atlas for the chondral structures, JointMap. The spatial preferences of chondrocyte subtypes were speculated by the collected tissues of samples and spatial module scores. The multi-omic annotations in single-cell level were calculated. Collectively, JointMap provides a unified framework for the systematic analysis of chondral structures across multiple species, and it can serve as an important platform to unravel druggable networks for treating articular diseases.
