Working model of long-day flowering signal pathway in rice. OsMADS50 promotes transition to reproductive stage by suppressing expression of OsLFL1 that is a repressor of Ehd1. OsMADS56 inhibits flowering by binding to OsMADS50. Ehd1 is also controlled by other genes, e.g. OsID1 and Ghd7.
