Os06g01250 encoding the rice P450 CYP93G2 protein which is a functional flavanone 2-hydroxylase. In the trail of CYP93G2 protein expressing Saccharomyces cerevisiae,recombinant CYP93G2 Converts Flavanones to corresponding 2-Hydroxyflavanones.Furthermore, CYP93G2 is the first enzyme of flavanones to C-glycosylflavone biosynthesis pathway in rice.
