Function
Please input function information here. D18 CDS 1113 bp, contains three exons, encoding a 370 amino acid composition of protein products. Phytochrome in the regulation of rice section elongation of different levels, such as regulating OsGA3ox2 GA biosynthesis gene expression, the expression of ACO1 section and the elongation of the initial (Iwamoto et al. 2011) Gibberellin 3 beta hydroxylase activity (0016707) GO:
Expression
Please input expression information here. Rice genome library makes use of degenerate primers PCR amplification, filter and cloned into two gibberellin 3 beta OsGA3ox1 and OsGA3ox2 hydroxylase gene. The authors use the GC - MS full range scan and Kovats retention index to test the function of the recombinant fusion protein. Two proteins in GA20 to GA1, GA5 to GA3 and GA44 to GA38 and GA9 to GA4 show hydroxylase activity. In addition, the indirect evidence also suggests that proteins in catalytic GA9 OsGA3ox1 to 2, 3 - dehydro - GA9, GA20 to GA5 (2, 3 - dehydro - GA20) have 2, 3 dehydrogenase activity, in the process of the catalytic GA1 to GA8, GA4 to GA34 plays in the process of 2 beta hydroxylase activity.Molecules and linkage analysis showed that OsGA3ox1 located in chromosome 5 short arm distal, OsGA3ox2 located in chromosome 1 short arm distal D18 seat.OsGA3ox2 and verified by complementary experiments, the correlation of d18 by OsGA3ox2 complementary d18 - AD alleles, gm strains showed normal phenotype. The two genes are characterized by brief expression, including OsGA3ox1 expressed in unopened flower, highest OsGA3ox2 expressed in elongation of blade top (Itoh et al., 2001)
Evolution
