Annotated Information
Gene Symbol
- Os12g0207000 <=> OsMADS13, MAF1, RMADS206
Function
- OsMADS13 controls ovule identity. It is the rice ortholog of STK, FBP7, and FBP11.
- OsMADS13 also has a function in floral meristem determinacy.
Mutation
- The osmads13 mutant is female sterile and that ovules are converted into carpelloid structures. Furthermore, making carpels inside carpels, the osmads13 flower is indeterminate.
Expression
- The expression of OsMADS13 restricted to ovules.
Evolution
