The CattleGTEx atlas reveals regulatory mechanisms underlying complex traits

CattleCA: comprehensive single-cell/nucleus transcriptomic profiles representing 130 primary cell types across 1,175 distinct cell clusters derived from 1,793,854 single-cells/nuclei isolated from 59 diverse tissues spanning 11 organ systems of 15 dairy cattle, encompassing both genders and three developmental stages: fetus, calves, and adults. CattleCA will be an invaluable resource for advancing fundamental biology, understanding evolution, studying mammalian genetics, enhancing precision breeding efforts, and exploring the emerging field of cell-based food systems.
