General information

URL: http://www.urogene.org/kgdb
Full name: Human kidney Gene DataBase
Description: KGDB is a curated database that contains current information regarding genes or genomic loci involved in human kidney disease. Currently,KGDB covers genes that have been reported in the scientific literature to be involved in a number of molecular, genetic, and epigenetic events occurred in the kidney such as gene amplification, mutation, gross deletion, polymorphism, loss of heterozygosity (LOH), microsatellite instability (MSI) methylation, and hypomethylation and and also covers genes that are exclusively expressed in kidney as shown by SAGE and EST analysis.
