Caffeine poisoning treated by hemoperfusion.

Abstract

A case of acute caffeine poisoning with resultant ventricular fibrillation and coma was treated by emergency hemoperfusion. Clinical symptomatology improved dramatically with resolution of arrhythmias and return to normal consciousness over a five-hour period.
