Abstract

Peripartum cardiomyopathy is a rare disease of unknown etiology. Its onset is rarely in the last trimester of pregnancy but more often during the first 5 months after delivery. A hemodynamically well documented case from Switzerland with a follow-up period of 6 1/2 years is reported.
