[Day care in nursing homes: a perspective].

Abstract

In this article the author, working at the NZI (National Hospital Institute), describes a perspective for the further development of day treatment in nursing homes. On the basis of an investigation performed by the NZI he considers the question, which essential angles of incidence can be distinguished in the functioning of such departments. After having made this analysis, he indicates policies, which can conduct to a more co-ordinated supply of care. He asks special attention for co-operation with other health care facilities.
