Abstract

The health status of immigrants in Texas bears directly on their ability to gain access to health and medical care. The Latino/Mexican and Asian populations in Texas are growing rapidly. Demographics for these populations and their subgroups show how organizational and financial barriers prevent them from obtaining needed medical services.
