Abstract

The problem of precarious employment is particularly rooted in epidemiological and public health research. Through a shared path, within the Italian Association of Epidemiology, a commitment document on precariousness in the epidemiological field has been produced with the aim of improving the working and contractual conditions of the precarious personnel involved in the initiative. If this experience were repeated in other scientific associations, the number of precarious workers with more protection would increase.
