Introduction

Identifying genetic risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is an important research topic, in this work, we propose two integrated multi-task sparse canonical correlation analysis (MTSCCA) methods to identify genetic factors  as well as AD-relevant endophenotypic markers. These two MTSCCA methods, called the pairwise endophenotype correlation guided MTSCCA (pcMTSCCA) and the high-order endophenotype correlation guided MTSCCA (hocMTSCCA). Our methods provided very helpful clues for further in-depth investigation and thus were powerful in multi-omics heterogeneous markers identification.
