Description | Here we sequenced and assembled a high quality tea plant (longjing43) and resequenced 139 diverse tea collected from around the world. These included 93 in China ,1 in Burma, 6 in Georgia,5 in Hawaii,1 in India,12 in Japan,7 in Kenya,5 in Laos,5 in Nepal,1 in Sri Lanka and 3 in Vietnam. Genomic DNA was extracted and sequenced to a average depth of 13.6X per individual. The whole genome and population genomic analyses using these data provided insights into the origin and differentiation of the tea | ||||||||||||||||||||
