Description |
The genome of Alsophila spinulosa was estimated to be 6.23 Gb in size and have a heterozygosity of 0.28%. Our de novo genome assembly anchored 6.2 Gb sequences onto 69 pseudo-chromosomes, with Contig N50 and scaffold N50 of 1.80 Mb and 92.48 Mb, respectively. The A. spinulosa genome provides a unique reference for inferring the history of genetic diversity, secondary metabolite biosynthesis, evolution and adaptation of tree ferns. |
