Title Research and development of new techniques for preimplantation genetic diagnosis
Relevance Medical
Data types Whole genome sequencing
Organisms Homo sapiens
Description Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) is mainly used in patients with advanced infertility, recurrent miscarriages and repeated implant failure, chromosomal balance translocations, and single gene disease. At present, the pathogenic factors of infertility related to PGT still need to be clarified, and the new PGT technology still needs to be developed and improved. PGT lacks high-quality evidence-based medicine research, and the clinical application system of PGT in China still needs to be improved. In response to the above problems, this project intends to adopt innovative technologies such as single-cell epigenetic parallel multiomics sequencing to analyze the molecular mechanism related to human preimplantation embryo development, and provide theoretical basis for the research and development of new PGT technology.High throughput single molecule sequencing and NICS technology were applied to the new PGT platform.Through carrying out large sample, multi-center, randomized controlled clinical trials to study the clinical application effect of new PGT technology, developing PGT clinical guidelines and technical specifications, and improving and standardizing the PGT clinical system in China.
