Description We report a chromosome-scale genome sequence from the wild sheepgrass accession LC6-5. Comparative genomics analysis provides key insight into the evolution of Triticeae.And we provide a successful example of genome editing in sheepgrass by knocking out a key microRNA affecting growth and plant architecture.
