Endometriosis is a prevalent gynecological disease that bother 10% of women at reproductive age. There are different types of endometriosis, among which the ovarian endometriosis is the most prevalent. Despite the influence, the pathogenic mechanism of ovarian endometriosis is under exploration. The major barrier of the study is the minimal pathogenic cell number at the ectopic site of ovary. Here we took advantage of single-cell transcriptomic sequencing technology, sequenced samples from endometriosis patients and healthy controls. We took samples both from endometrial tissues and ovarian lesions, also normal endometrial tissues from healthy controls. |
