We newly assembled an improved genome of the C. olitorius cv. salt tolerance jute variety (TC008-41, No. zhonghuangma 15, namely TC) by using a combine technology data comprise of Nanopore long reads (111.02 Gb), paired-end sequences (43.24 Gb), 10X Genomics sequences (94.72 Gb), and chromatin conformation capture (Hi-C) data (48.24 Gb). A total of 411.26 Mb TC assembly was anchored onto 7 pseudo-chromosomes with an contig N50 size of 4.13 Mb, which have improved 2.75-fold compared to the recently published genome |
