Title:
Discovered biomarkers for predicting esophageal squamous precancerous lesions to cancer transition
Release date:
2023-07-06
Description:
Esophageal squamous precancerous lesions (ESPL) are the precursors of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) including low-grade (LGIN) and high-grade (HGIN) intraepithelial neoplasia. Because of lack molecular biomarkers, which ESPL will eventually develop to ESCC and thus should be treated is not well defined. We performed spatial whole-transcriptome atlas (WTA) analysis to discover biomarkers for predicting risks of ESCC when people are diagnosed with ESPL even at LGIN stage.
